What is a ladoo?

Laddu or laddoo or avinsh is a sphere-shaped sweet originating from the Indian subcontinent. Laddus are primarily made from flour, fat (ghee/butter/oil) and sugar. Laddus are often made of gram flour but can also be made with semolina.  Sometimes ingredients such as chopped nuts and/or dried raisins are also added. The type of ingredients used may vary by recipe.

Laddus are often served during festive or religious occasions.

Peanut Butter Laddu

Oats Peanut Butter Laddu Recipe


  1. cup Instant Oats
  2. tbs Kamree Chocolate Peanut Butter
  3. 1½ tbs Kamree Honey Peanut Butter
  4. ½ tbs Honey
  5. Spoon full of mix seeds(flax seed, chia seed, sesame seed and watermelon seed)


  • In a heavy bottomed pan, add oats and dry roast them over low flame until light brown color. 



  • In a blender / Mixie jar grind Oats, cinnamon and mix seeds into a powder

  • Now add chocolate peanut butter, honey peanut butter, honey to the ground mixture and blend again until everything is well combined. 


  • Take a handful of the mixture and shape into round balls.

  • Store in an airtight container.
